Welcome to the Guardian Bank Business Plan Competition Web site!

The competition, now in its forth year, was created to help raise the per capital income of Lowndes County and continue to cultivate an encouraging and educating atmosphere for entrepreneurs in our community. One Grand Prize of $15,000 along with tens of thousands of dollars of in-kind services will be awarded to the business plan meeting and exceeding the requirments of the competition.  Participants are challenged to create a business to address the professional needs of local students who obtain technical diplomas or college degrees.

Along the competition journey, each contestant or team will participate in workshops, receive assistance through the Chamber’s S.E.E.D.S. Center of South Georgia, and the VSU Small Business Development Center. The competition is open to any person interested in starting a business in Lowndes County that show the potential to employ technical college and university graduates. Interested entrepreneurs should read and complete the Official Entry form and the Rules and Regulations form.
